Double Your Trouble began in the winter months of 2009 with Tennessee Blues guitarist Randy Stephens.

Coming up on what will be the 20th anniversary of SRV's tragic death at Alpine Valley in 1990, the call was put out and quickly answered by veteran musicians Bill Taylor (Bass) and Kevin McBride (Drums).

Immediately it was realized that Stevie's music needed to be kept alive through the essence of 'live' performance.

DYT exists for the sole purpose to entertain audiences with this electric blues genre and what better way than through the music of Stevie Ray Vaughan.

This is a benefit concert for the Sue DiNapoli Ovarian Cancer Society.

The Shook Twins style is often referred to as “quirky folk,” which incorporates acoustic instrumentation including banjo, guitar, upright bass, mandolin, ukulele, glockenspiel, djembe, and their signature golden egg.

Twin harmonies layered on top of acoustic instrumentation are coupled with Laurie's beat boxing and inventive use of a looping machine, and Katelyn's re-purposed telephone microphone.

The use of electronics sets their sound apart, creating an eclectic and eccentric blend of folk, roots, pop and fun.
